Islamabad: CDA approves the annual budget. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has given the green light to the annual budget of PKR 150,095.74 million for the fiscal year 2023-24, as reported on July 4.
A meeting of the CDA Board, led by Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal, was held at the organization’s headquarters where the CDA approves the annual budget. During the meeting, the CDA Board unanimously agreed to undertake the construction of what will soon become the world’s largest bird aviary, situated in the picturesque F-9 Park in Islamabad.
Encompassing an impressive 10 acres of land, this visionary project aims to serve as a haven for a wide array of bird species, promoting the conservation of biodiversity and providing an enriching experience for park visitors.
According to reports, the Aviary will be built through an open auction, following the Design, Build, Operate, and Transfer (DBOT) model.
