Lahore, the Punjab Govt imposed Monthly house tax of Rs. 695 per household, covering 16 administrative subdivisions known as ‘tehsils.’ This tax has been implemented to address pressing needs in the region, including waste management, sanitation, and water supply.

Govt imposed Monthly house tax policy applies to nearly 2,000 villages in Punjab, including places like Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Sargodha, Chakwal, Pakpattan, Chiniot, Jhang, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, DG Khan, Lodhran, Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh, and Multan.

The interim government has entrusted municipal authorities with managing waste and ensuring a consistent water supply. The success of these initiatives hinges on the effective collection of tax revenue, as the goal is to offer residents reliable and efficient public services.
